According to statistics, the competition received 601 submissions worldwide, with 589 valid entries. Designs were diverse and highly creative, drawing inspiration from classic elements such as the bronze masks of Sanxingdui, the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament from Jinsha, and the character "蜀(Shu)", reflecting a deep understanding of ancient Shu culture and innovative contemporary interpretations.
After preliminary review, public online voting, and final experts’ evaluation, the winners were selected: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 10 Excellence Awards.
The First Prize work, themed “Eye of Ancient Shu,” integrates jade cong carvings with the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament motif, symbolizing the wisdom and vitality of the ancient Shu people in their intertwined relationship with nature.
The two Second Prize works feature the “蜀(Shu)” character fused with the Bronze mask with protruding eyes from Sanxingdui and the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament from the Jinsha Site, and another combines elements of the bronze mask and the Immortal Birds Gold Ornament with a Tai Chi composition, highlighting the cultural concept of the interplay of "twin stars."
The Third Prize works were primarily based on mask designs, the Sun and Immortal Birds bird motifs, and the evolution of the Chinese character "蜀(Shu)," embodying both historical depth and visual appeal.
These outstanding creations are more than designs, they are cultural dialogues across time and space.
