As International Museum Day arrived, the Sanxingdui Museum launched a series of events centered on the theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World.” From exhibitions and educational programs to lectures and aviation collaborations, the ancient Shu civilization reached wider audiences in new and diverse ways.

At the special exhibition “Golden and Jade Brilliance, Diverse and Splendid China” , the main event for International Museum Day in China held at the Inner Mongolia Museum, one of the most iconic artifacts from Sanxingdui, the Bronze head portrait with a gold mask, was placed on display alongside treasures from across China.
Meanwhile, at the Sanxingdui Museum itself, the special exhibition dedicated to the Yungang Grottoes, along with related lectures, invited visitors to explore the artistic beauty of Chinese grotto culture beyond the world of Ancient Shu.
At the same time, an aircraft decorated with Sanxingdui elements made its debut at Beijing Daxing International Airport, bringing the ancient Shu civilization back into the sky.

In addition, jointly organized by the Sanxingdui Museum and the Jinsha Site Museum, the "Sanxingdui-Jinsha Site Cultural Heritage Lecture Series," entered primary and secondary schools, bringing archaeological knowledge and Ancient Shu culture to thousands of teachers and students.

Today, Ancient Shu civilization is being discovered, understood, and shared in more ways.
